AMRUT Distilleries Ltd is the KING of INDIAN SINGLE MALT WHISKIES. It is best known for its eponymous AMRUT brand of single malt whisky, which is the first single malt whisky to be made in India.
The brand became famous after world famous whisky connoisseur Jim Murray gave it AMRUT FUSION a stellar 97.5 point rating in 2010. Murray named Amrut Fusion single malt whisky as the third best in the world and whisky heads began to turn.
John Hansell, editor of American magazine Whisky Advocate, wrote that "India's Amrut Distillery changed the way many think of Indian whisky - that it was, in the past, just cheap Scotch whisky blended with who knows what and sold as Indian whisky. Amrut is making whisky, and it's very good". Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky is crafted in Bengaluru India.
The core range of Indian Single Malt Whiskies includes Single Malt 46%, Cask Strength, Peated and Peated Cask Strength, whiskies to be enjoyed often.

This Loch Lomond single grain whisky has been maturing for 19 years in a variety of American oak casks, previously holding bourbon. For its final twelve months, this whisky has rested in specially selected, small barrels from Koval Distillery in Chicago.
This is an extremely unusual whisky, both in terms of spirit production and maturation. Unusually made from malted barley, (grain whisky is usually made from wheat or corn), and distilled through a column still, grain whisky is different from a single malt whisky. It is light, fresh, fruity and very easy to drink. This delicate spirit started life maturing in a refill bourbon cask, resulting in a delicious creamy and sweet whisky. However, the Whisky Creations Team decided to go that little bit further and continue to mature the spirit for an additional three months in their unique 30-gallon American oak casks from the Koval Distillery in Chicago. Not dominated by the spirit, this single grain whisky is a celebration of American Oak!
The distillate used is GRAPE not grain, which makes this gin truly gluten-free, from start to finish.
How to pronounce the distillery name Xoriguer: “sho-ri-gair”. Each batch is crafted exclusively for the USA. The Juniper berries are sea-salt air aged for up to 4 years in open crates at the distillery, thus concentrating the flavors and delivering a smooth gin, without bitterness. Two of the wood-fired Alembic stills are 70+ years old, another is 125+ years old and the last one is 270 years old. The 270 year old still is 700 liters.

'KADHAMBAM' is a Tamil word meaning 'combination' or 'mixture'. True to its name, AMRUT KADHAMBAM is a novel Single Malt that combines in itself Rum, Sherry and Brandy notes.
Regular Single Malt is further matured for further periods in casks that we previously used to mature Rum (Ex-Amrut Rum Cask), Sherry and Brandy (Ex-Amrut Brandy Cask). Subsequently, they are married together on a specific, proprietary ratio, to achieve the right balance, in refill bourbon casks. In this process the malt successively gains the aroma and the notes of Rum, Sherry and Brandy. The result is a truly gratifying mix of notes. As a succession of subtle and complex notes unravel, AMRUT KADHAMBAM is sure to exhilarate your nose and palate with a first-of-its-kind experience.

On the north east coast of the Isle of Mull, you'll find an ancient distillery, in the picturesque fishing town of Tobermory. Having spent most of its life in a bourbon barrel, the Murray McDavid Whisky Creations Team filled this spirit into a fresh Madeira wine barrique.
Tobermory is matured in a refill bourbon cask to give soft, sweet vanilla and spicy flavours to this meaty malt. It is further matured for nearly a decade in a wine barrique which previously held Tempranillo wine from the Callejo vineyard in the north of Spain. The Murray McDavid Whisky Creations Team then chose to finish this characterful malt in a freshly emptied cask used to mature sweet wine from Madeira, to add rich, integrated fruity notes.
