Exclusive to the USA. Single Malt Whisky • 60.3% abv • Aged ex-bourbon on site • Bottled on Sept 26, 2013. • 170 bottles - Aged 3.4 years
NOSE: Fresh marshmallow root, powdered sugar and marzipan. Beautiful light aroma of almond oil, with slight woody spicy in the background: Sandalwood.
PALATE: Not the taste is, as you might expect, fiery and intense for a young malt with black pepper and cinnamon notes that are slow to fade but do reveal hints of lemony tartness when they do fade.
FINISH: A bit hot, candied ginger peel. Not overly long but quite enjoyable. It has spunk!
Single Malt Whisky • 46% abv • Aged ex-bourbon on site • Bottled on October 3, 2013 • 246 bottles - Aged 3.3 years.
NOSE: Soft malt with cinnamon and toffee notes and a hint of liquorice on the nose.
PALATE: We taste rich barley with sweet stewed fruit and nice butterscotch flavour.
FINISH: The finish is very long, lingering at the front of the mouth.
Cask #12 at Cask Strength 63.1% + Cask #12 at 46%
Made from 100% Canadian two-row malted barley. Mashed, fermented and distilled by hand in small batches in a copper pot still, then matured in ex-bourbon barrels on site for a minimum of three years. Each barrel is bottled individually as a single cask offering in individually numbered bottles. Some casks are bottled at cask strength, while others will be bottled at a minimum 46% alc./vol., with no chill filtering or artificial colouring added.
All spirits are made by hand, in small batches from grain to glass.
