VERDEJO Here's this plateau in central North Central Spain at an average altitude of 800 metres, where farmers planted, among other things, different grape varieties for subsistence and joy. One of those was Verdejo, a white variety which adapted well to poor soils and bad climate. At one point after many years of the vines bearing rough, cold, windy, foggy winters and hot, dry summers, the Verdejo variety decided to manifest itself and express its beauty the only way it could on that deserted land its destiny sent it. So the grapes of this indolent plant were bestowed with fragrant aromas of pine tree, rosemary, or even tropical fruits...its taste is fresh and fruity with a fantastic hint of bitter taste which make it refreshing....

WINERY

Imagine a river between the boldness of new world and refinement of old world wines. El Palo - the stick, is the vine which bridges these two great worlds together. It's the essence of Spanish wines. Old world refinement with a bold taste provided by uniquely Spanish grapes.
